Madrid, the capital city of Spain, has been an important place for the country’s culture and history. Located at the center of part of the country, it has also been a big contributor to their economy. Many people visit Madrid each year to see museums, go shopping and watch events. Bull fighting is probably the most popular event in here. Madrid has and area of 607 square kilometers and over three million people are situated in here. This volume of population is one of the highest among European cities.

 
Around eighty percent of houses in Madrid are owned and twenty percent are being rented. The housing density of this city is sixty four houses or condominiums per square mile. The average price for a house or condo is around thirty four thousand dollars and a hundred dollars per month for those which are for rent. Majority of the houses that are owned are acquired through mortgages but houses that are bought without a mortgages also has a fair share.
